Welcome to DuPage Healthcare Ltd.! In our warm, friendly environment, you’ll feel at ease and calm, ready to begin your healing journey. We look forward to assisting you!

Preparing for Your Visit

We suggest that you wear comfortable clothes and leave most of your jewelry at home in case x-rays are necessary. Bring your insurance, picture identification and paperwork which can be obtained below, via email or it can be completed in office upon arrival.

The First Appointment

At check-in, we will collect your paperwork, insurance and identification. Then we invite you to relax, take advantage of our hospitality bar, hot packs and massage chairs while we prepare for your visit. Once in the examination room, Dr. Pepping will talk about what has brought you in today.

From this consultation, we will determine what type of testing is needed and the doctor will perform an examination. Digital x-rays can be taken on site, if appropriate and Dr. Pepping may recommend some type of home care to you. Finally, you can check out at the front desk and schedule your follow-up appointment. This visit takes about 30 minutes.

The Second Appointment

We recommend that you bring a loved one with you to be a part of this visit. Together, we will go over your examination findings and x-rays as well as discuss whether we can accept you as a patient. If chiropractic isn’t for you, we’ll find another practitioner that is.

If we feel that we can accept your case, we will go over:

  • What type of treatment we recommend
  • The cost of care, including any insurance coverage
  • What you can expect at subsequent visits

You’ll have your first chiropractic adjustment and be on your way in about 30 minutes.

Continuing Care

At the time of your third or fourth visit, Dr. Pepping will prescribe specific exercises you can do at home to help your healing.

Many people wonder how often and for how long they must continue to see the chiropractor. Initially, you may have more frequent visits to begin the healing process as looking after your spine takes time, effort and commitment involving both doctor and patient. Along the way, we will educate you about your spine and how having a healthy spine allows your body to heal and your nervous system to communicate properly which results in a long-term benefit for your life.

The Three-legged Stool

To get the most out of your care at DuPage Healthcare Ltd., three aspects are important to remember:

  • Keeping your visits. If you miss an appointment, your body won’t adapt as well to the new, healthy patterns we’re introducing. By seeing us as recommended, you can maintain those positive changes.
  • Doing your home care exercises. Performing them as instructed gives you a better chance of moving in the right direction.
  • Breaking your bad habits. You must consider what you do outside of your visits to ensure that you don’t resort to the same unhealthy patterns. We’ll talk to you about how to sit properly at a computer, lift, drive and get the most out of nutrition and other areas of your life.

We accept Medicare and most major insurance carriers as well as CareCredit, which takes just a few minutes on site to see if you are approved. Contact us today to book your time!
